North Gallery are thrilled to present Dan Bean’s third solo exhibition with the gallery, ‘Smoko’. The work is peopled by his familiar characters and their stories. This series focuses on the joy of just taking a load off and having a bit of a break and, dare we say it, a quick cig. Celebrating the places we pause; the questions we ponder; the folks who keep us company, even as we rest from recreation - the most tiring past time of all.
